Italian model Eugenio Casnighi claims he was fired from working the 2024 Met Gala red carpet due to accidentally going viral for...standing next to Kylie Jenner last year????

Sharing his story on TikTok, the model said, "I just got fired from the Met Gala," before sharing several photos of himself at the 2023 event. "Remember me? So I've never talked about this because I was under NDA. Funny enough, they fired me so I can say whatever I want now."

Eugenio went on to explain that he's been working as a model and greeter at the Met Gala for two years and was supposed to work the carpet again this time around—until things changed. "They fired me because I went viral last year," he claimed. "So basically they said, 'You made it about yourself, so we can’t have you work there anymore, so I’m sorry.'"

"Last year, they told me that I was going to be with Jenner, 26, all night, and I help her with whatever she needed," he recalled. "They literally told me we picked you because we like you more than other people to be with this celebrity, but when people took pictures of the actual celebrity, not me, of the actual celebrity like Kylie Jenner and I was next to her, of course, I ended up in the picture and they blamed me."

Wild! Anyway, Eugenio also dropped a second vid with more details and also some receipts in the form of emails if you wanna check it out!
